Faatima was introduced to pottery briefly in high school in Athens, AL, where she grew up. She rediscovered clay after having her second child. She started with classes at the Alpharetta Arts Center in 2019, then found Art Center West in 2022 and has been coming here ever since.

Faatima enjoys the endless creative opportunities that clay presents, as well as the challenges. She loves being a part of the studio and learning from the instructors, staff, and fellow students, and she appreciates all the talent, inspiration, and support they offer.
