Stuart started taking hand-building courses at Art Center West in 2019. Stuart appreciates this community not only for the amazing facilities and great instructors, but also because the participants are also teachers, freely exchanging tips and ideas that helps everyone better express their art.  As a retired engineer, he also enjoys solving the technical puzzles in hand-building ceramics, and derives great pleasure in creating some new oddball clay tool!
